JumpSport PRO Rebounder Review: Everything You Need to Know
Disclaimer: This website exists thanks to you, the readers. When you buy through links on my site, I may earn an affiliate commission.
Before I turned to the JumpSport, I was deep in the bellicon world — that feather-soft bounce, the German engineering, the whole experience — and I wasn't sure anything cheaper could compete. Then I actually spent serious time on the JumpSport PRO.
What got me wasn't just the build quality (though that's excellent). It was the bounce. And then the fact that I could adjust the firmness myself without buying anything extra.
This review covers everything about the JumpSport PRO, from size and mat options to the handlebar situation.
Let's get into it.

Key takeaways
- Near-silent bounce. The EnduroLast bungee system makes no meaningful noise. Not at low intensity, not during HIIT, not after years of daily use.
- Adjustable tension. All PRO models use 4-knot cords with 7 firmness settings. The ESSENTIAL tier has fixed cords. If adjustability matters to you, you need the PRO.
- Mat size is important. The 39" is fine for smaller spaces and shorter users. Most people who buy it wish they'd gone to the 44". I'll explain why.
- Handlebar not included. Always sold separately. Plan for this before you check out.
- Lifetime frame warranty. For private use, the steel frame is covered for life. That's not very common at this price point.
Who it's for: Anyone who wants a commercial-quality bungee rebounder for fitness, lymphatic health, or low-impact cardio.
Overall rating: 4.8 / 5

My experience with the JumpSport PRO
The first thing you notice stepping onto a JumpSport PRO is what you don't hear.
No creak. Nothing. Just a smooth, controlled landing. If you come from a cheap Amazon spring rebounder, this silence will feel like a revelation.
I started on the 39" PRO and kept the cords at stock tension for the first week before touching anything. Out of the box, it's firm but not harsh. I went 40 minutes straight without any knee niggles.
Then I tightened the cords. Clipped the extra knots in on alternate bungees first, then all of them. The whole character of the bounce shifted. Sharper, more responsive, better for fast footwork. I understand now why people who use this for HIIT love the adjustment feature. At the same time, I was able to bounce for lymphatic health. One rebounder, two completely different workouts.
My advice: if you're on the fence between the 39" and the 44", go with the 44". The jumping area on the 39" is smaller than the frame size suggests. Once you start moving side to side, you feel the limits. People who've owned both sizes say the same thing, every time.
My in-depth JumpSport PRO review
Build quality and design
The frame is multi-layer powder-coated steel. It doesn't flex when you land, doesn't wobble when you step near the edge, and doesn't make a sound. It feels like studio equipment (because it is).
You’ve got 3 frame options — solid, 3-piece, and foldable. This doesn’t make any difference in terms of stability or sturdiness.
Every PRO model uses JumpSport's patented arched legs. The wider base they create prevents tipping even when you step right to the outer edge of the mat. I've tested this deliberately. The thing doesn't rock.

One trade-off worth understanding now: the arched legs are the reason why folding the JumpSport PRO is not something you’ll want to do every day. Unlike the bellicon's legs, which collapse under the frame, the JumpSport's arched legs need to be unscrewed. More on this in the portability section.

Cons (build)
Bounce feel
The EnduroLast bungee system absorbs your landing evenly across the whole foot. There's no specific pressure point, no snap-back. Just a smooth, cushioned push that comes back up under you.
The bounce itself is firm and controlled. It's not the deep, floaty softness of a bellicon. The JumpSport is more athletic, more responsive. In the rebounding community people often call it “springy-soft”, not “deep-soft”. That distinction matters if you're doing fast footwork or HIIT cardio. You're not sinking in. You're back up and ready for the next move quickly.
The 48" PRO has its own character worth flagging. The 2Xtra Firm cords and larger mat make it the most performance-oriented option in the lineup. It’s generally better for HIIT and heavier users. If you're bouncing for wellness or gentle fitness, this is worth knowing. The 39" or 44" PRO might suit you much better.

Important: If you’re just starting out with rebounding, you might want to consider the JumpSport PREMIUM rebounder. It can give you a softer bounce than the PRO models. However, keep in mind that softer isn’t always better. For heavier users, I’d still recommend the PRO range.

JumpSport PRO bungees explained
This is the feature that separates the PRO from everything else in the JumpSport lineup and from most of the competition.
The EnduroLast cord isn't a standard bungee. It's engineered to stretch up to twice its resting length. That extra depth of travel is what creates the smooth, full-body rebound instead of the abrupt snap you get from cheaper cords.
The four knots are the adjustment points. Clip all four and the bounce is firm. Leave them open and it's softer. Alternate firm and soft for something in the middle. JumpSport calls this 7 distinct settings.

Here's how I use it in practice. On a soft setting, a gentle health bounce with heels barely leaving the mat gives you more resistance per movement because your body works harder to control the deeper travel. On a firm setting, faster routines and sharper footwork are easier to do.
This adjustability is exclusive to the PRO and PREMIUM tiers. The ESSENTIAL models use fixed 2-knot cords. If having control over your bounce is important, the PRO is the one to get.
JumpSport tests each EnduroLast cord to 1.6 million bounce cycles for the 39" and 44" models. When the cords eventually need replacing, you can buy a fresh set from their site.
Pros (bungees)
Cons (bungees)
Mat options
This is one of the most common questions I get, so let's settle it.
![]() The Skirt mat uses a lay-flat fabric over the bungee cords. It extends your usable jumping surface and lies flat under your feet. It's the more popular option, and it's the one I'd point most people toward. | ![]() The Padded Petal mat adds individual padded petals over each cord attachment point. Useful if your workouts involve lying on the mat, push-up variations, and so on. |
My take on petals, though: some people find they rub together during bouncing and create a low-level friction noise. They can also look wrinkled over time. If you jump mainly in the center of the mat and don't do floor work, the skirt mat is the more practical choice.
One important note: the 48" PRO only comes with the skirt mat. No petal option. And if you choose a foldable frame on the 44" PRO, same story.
Pros (mat)
Cons (mat)
Handlebar options
No JumpSport PRO comes with a handlebar out of the box. It's always an add-on.![]() Standard handlebar | ![]() Compact handlebar |
The quick-release option is available on both handlebar models. This is a double-clamp system that lets you attach or remove the handlebar without tools. There are dedicated quick-release bars for each JumpSport PRO size. They are not interchangeable. You must get the one for your trampoline size. The 48" only comes with a quick-release bar, either standard or compact.
My take: if you're new to rebounding, have any balance concerns, or want to add barre-style or strength exercises, add the handlebar to your cart at the same time as the rebounder. It makes the whole experience more versatile and removes the hesitation that new bouncers often feel stepping on for the first few sessions.
Noise level
Short version: it's as quiet as a rebounder gets.
I've used this early in the morning in a shared house without waking anyone. The bungees produce no meaningful sound when you land.
I know people who've bounced on their PRO daily for years, and they report no change in noise levels at all. If you live in an apartment, have kids sleeping nearby, or work out early, this rebounder genuinely solves the noise problem for good.
Portability and storage
Here's where I want to be direct, because this confuses a lot of people looking at JumpSport for the first time.
The arched legs are what make the JumpSport PRO so stable. That wide, arching base is why you can step right to the edge without the thing tipping. But arched legs also mean the ring frame can't simply fold flat for storage.
Unlike the bellicon's legs, which collapse neatly under the frame, JumpSport's arched legs need to be unscrewed to lay the rebounder flat. It's straightforward, but it's not a 5-second job. That's the trade-off for having a no-tip arched base, and honestly, given how stable the rebounder is as a result, I think it's a fair one.

That being said, in the PRO series, you can get a foldable frame on the JumpSport PRO 44” only. The frame folds roughly in half. It has hand-screw bolts on the feet, so you don't need tools to fold and unfold it. And the best part is that you can actually fold it with the bungees on. Most bungee trampolines can’t do that. There is also a carry case you can get from their online store for more convenient travel.
You don’t have to fold it all the time, even if you got the foldable frame. A lot of people just lean their JumpSports against a wall for storage.
Pros (portability)
Cons (portability)
Customization
Here's something that surprises a lot of people: JumpSport has more color options than you'd expect from a performance-focused rebounder.
You can get the PRO models with bungees and frame in the same color, which gives the rebounder that distinctive look. So if you want it to be a part of the furniture, instead of hiding in a corner, you can choose something that actually looks good in your space.
Then, there are the many different colors for cords. From rainbow and pink to gold and gray, there is an option for every taste. You can get a black frame and black cords and then customize with a colorful set of cords.

It's not the fully configured-to-order experience of the bellicon, but it's more than most people realise. Also, being able to give the rebounder a completely fresh look years down the line is a nice option to have.
Assembly
Solid ring models are painless. The bungee cords come pre-installed. Bolt on the six legs with the Allen wrench (included), and you're done. Should take around 15 minutes.
The foldable frame takes a few extra steps. Unfold the frame, attach the remaining cords, bolt on the legs. No tools needed for the daily folding and unfolding. You’ve got hand-screw bolts.
The 3-Piece frame is the most involved. You’ve got three frame sections to piece together, all cords to attach, and legs to bolt on. JumpSport's instructions include part numbers for every component, so if anything's missing, you can call them and they'll send it.
Overall, the assembly is easy and straightforward. The instructions are clear.
Warranty
JumpSport's warranty on the PRO tier is one of the strongest in the category.
For private home use:
- Lifetime warranty on the steel frame and legs.
- 4 years on the mat and cords.
- All other components get 1 year.
For commercial use:
- Frame and legs are covered for 5 years
- Mat and cords get 18 months
- Other components covered for 1 year.

How to decide?
If you're testing whether rebounding is for you before committing serious money, the ESSENTIAL is a fair starting point.
If you already know you're going to bounce daily, go straight to the PRO.
If you want the PRO but with a softer bounce or you need a foldable 39" for some reason, consider JumpSport PREMIUM.
JumpSport PRO vs. bellicon

The bounce is the real decision point for JumpSport PRO vs Bellicon.
The bellicon is typically softer and deeper, more like landing on something genuinely cushioned. The JumpSport PRO is firmer and more athletic. People who prefer the bellicon tend to want the gentlest possible landing, especially for managing joint pain or doing very low-intensity wellness work. People who prefer the JumpSport tend to be more fitness-oriented, or they want to dial the firmness up and down depending on the day.
If budget is your constraint, the JumpSport PRO is not a compromise — it's a genuinely excellent rebounder. If your priority is the softest, most floaty bounce available and budget isn't the issue, my full bellicon review is worth reading before you decide.
Both are amazing. They just feel different.
Who should buy the JumpSport PRO (And who should skip it)
Buy it if you:
- Want a commercial-quality bungee rebounder without paying premium prices
- Bounce regularly and want something built to last years, not months
- Want adjustable tension, softer for recovery days, firmer for cardio
- Are bouncing mainly for fitness but also want to do lymphatic drainage
- Run a studio or group fitness class — the PRO is great value
Skip it if you:
- Prefer the deeply soft, floaty bounce of a bellicon and have the budget for it
- Need a rebounder that folds without unscrewing legs (look at the bellicon or Cellerciser)
- Are buying for occasional very light use — the ESSENTIAL may be enough
Frequently asked questions
What size JumpSport PRO should I get?
Bigger than you think. That's the short answer.
The 39" PRO has a usable jumping area of around 32-33" with the skirt. For health bouncing, gentle cardio, and lymphatic drainage routines it works well. But start doing lateral moves or faster choreography and the edges come up quickly.
The 44" is the sweet spot for most adults. More room, more consistent bounce firmness in the centre, more space for dynamic workouts. If you're taller than 6' or training at a high level, the 48" deserves a look.
Not sure what rebounder size actually makes sense for your body and the way you work out? My guide on choosing the right rebounder size walks you through the whole decision.
Is the JumpSport PRO good for lymphatic drainage?
Yes, for sure!
A friend who bought the 39" PRO specifically for lymphatic drainage had visibly reduced ankle swelling within a few weeks of daily use. Another person I know with a more serious lymphatic condition says daily rebounding has dramatically reduced her need for compression socks.
Keep the cords on the softer setting for health bouncing and you get a gentle, sustained motion that you can maintain comfortably for 15 minutes.
When should you get the JumpSport PREMIUM?
The PREMIUM is the right call in one specific situation: you want adjustable tension, but the PRO's firm starting bounce feels like too much.
The PRO comes out of the box at a firm tension. That's great for fitness-focused bouncing. But if your priority is gentle health bouncing, lymphatic drainage, or low-impact recovery work, the PREMIUM gives you that softer starting point.
Two things the PREMIUM does that the others don't:
- It's the only tier that gives you a foldable frame on the 39" size. If you want a 39" rebounder you can fold away, the PREMIUM is your only option. The PRO's foldable frame only comes on the 44". That's a meaningful advantage if space is tight and you don't want to go up to a 44".
- The 39" ESSENTIAL has fixed cords. The 39” PREMIUM gives you adjustable tension.
The trade-offs are real, though. The PREMIUM only comes in 39". If you're taller, more active, or know you'll want more room to move, the PRO in 44" is the better investment.
Is the JumpSport PRO worth the money compared to budget rebounders?
The difference between a $100-150 rebounder and the JumpSport PRO is enormous and immediately obvious the first time you step on it. Smoother bounce, silent operation, rock-solid build. It's not a subtle upgrade.
If you're thinking about getting into rebounding but aren't sure yet, start with a cheaper rebounder. But the moment you know you're going to do this regularly, the upgrade to JumpSport PRO makes sense. You won't want to go back.
Verdict
The JumpSport PRO is one of the best value-for-money rebounders right now.
It's quiet, it's solid, and the adjustable cord system gives you genuine range, from a gentle 10-minute health bounce to a sweaty 40-minute cardio session, on the same rebounder, without buying anything extra. The lifetime frame warranty backs up everything JumpSport says about how this is built.
The trade-off versus the bellicon is bounce feel. The JumpSport is firmer and more athletic. The bellicon is softer and more floaty. Neither is objectively better. If you know you love a soft, deeply cushioned bounce and you have the budget, the bellicon is absolutely worth the premium. But if you want excellent quality, real adjustability, and long-term value, the JumpSport PRO is very hard to argue against.
